Notes
The FRESH framework recommends four core activities, to be implemented together for maximum effectiveness and impact. These are:
- Clear health policies for schools (e.g. a policy for having a suitable number of separate latrines for boys and girls).
- Provision of safe water and sanitation in schools
- Skills-based health, hygiene and nutrition education
- School based health and nutrition services (e.g. deworming and micronutrient supplements)
