Since 90% of the world's population of the blind live in poor communities where eye care is either unavailable or expensive, the following trend would emerge:

Massive public health enlightenment campaigns targeted to eye care such as developing appropriate jingles in radio and Television.

Sponsoring programs over certain duration to target certain aspects of eye care hygiene such as no urine, honey or salt application.
