Slide 12 OBJECTIVES
International Schools and Colleges of Optometry are an excellent resource of public health service. Young professionals who work with VOSH can make a difference in their own country. During the next several months, V/I will recruit schools of optometry under the banner of VOSH. We expect International Schools of Optometry to become beacons of public health in their countries.
Removing the barrier of paying fees for mailing, shipping, and customs would allow us to send inventory and used equipment to Schools of Optometry.
Hopefully, a partnership such as ours will encourage a petition that reaches government agencies that can waiver fees for humanitarian eye care.
